Don’t forget--the Kansas Republican Party
caucus is Saturday, February 9. Check-in will start at 9:00 am
in Johnson, Shawnee, and Sedgwick counties. Check-in will
begin at 9:30 am everywhere else. Caucusing will begin at
10:00 am.
Several campaigns have been in
contact with the state party about visiting Kansas so watch

What can I expect on Saturday?
Expect lines during the check-in process. As
long as you are in line by 10:00 AM, you will be able to vote.
Once you are checked-in, you can proceed to the
main seating area of the caucus. The chair of the caucus will
call the meeting to order around 10:00 AM. Following the
introduction, there will be the opportunity for
representatives from various campaigns to present information
about their candidate. This will take about an hour.
After all the representatives have had an
opportunity to discuss their candidate, ballots will be
distributed and you can vote.
Voting will be by secret ballot. You will only
vote for 1 time for the candidate of your choice. The whole
process will last a couple of hours depending on turnout.
